MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
AMC511AMC acquisition module with four 16-bit ADCs
AMC511 places four LTC2209 converters at 16 bits and 180 MSPS in front of a Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA: the signal enters from seven SMB connectors of the front panel, with single-ended inputs turned into differential ones, and clock and trigger are configurable in software.
The interface towards the shelf is decided by the firmware, between PCIe and Gigabit Ethernet, with optional QDR-II memory at 36 or 72 bits of width. Draw runs from 8 to 20 W according to the application and storage temperature runs from -40 to 90 °C.
