AMC302 offers eight RS-232 serial ports with full hardware modem support: RX, TX, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, CD and RI are available on each port, to talk to equipment that calls for the whole signal set.
The DB-100 connector on the front panel opens onto eight male DB-9 connectors through an adapter cable. The inputs withstand discharges up to 15 kV, stated draw is 3.5 W, MTBF 388,000 hours and storage temperature runs from -40 to 90 °C.
