MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
AMC22913-port AMC.2 10GbE switch with SFP+ outputs
AMC229 is an AdvancedMC module conforming to AMC.2 that builds a ten gigabit per port Ethernet switch inside an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA shelf, in single-width and full-height format.
The front ports are on SFP+ cages, while three ten gigabit links are routed towards the backplane as XAUI, with a 10GBase-KR option. The switch handles IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, jumbo frames and MAC tables; it is independent of the operating system and management follows IPMI.
