Manufacturer

AMC221 is an AdvancedMC processing module conforming to AMC.1 and AMC.2, built on a multi-core MIPS64 Cavium OCTEON processor with DDR2 memory and ECC error correction.

The 10GbE output is brought to a front SFP+ cage, while towards the backplane the module uses a XAUI link and PCIe lanes. Cores, frequency, memory and flash are order options; the operating systems supported are Linux, Windows, Solaris and VxWorks.
