AMC220 is an AdvancedMC compute module conforming to AMC.1 and AMC.2, built around a multi-core MIPS64 Cavium OCTEON processor with DDR2 memory guarded by ECC.
The module places beside its processing capability two 10GbE interfaces on SFP+ cages and a PCIe link towards the carrier; core count, frequency, memory and flash are settled at order time. Linux, Windows, Solaris and VxWorks are supported; management follows IPMI and the front LEDs include two user-definable indicators.
