AMC218AMC.2 GbE switch with front ports on an MRJ-21 connector
AMC218 is an AdvancedMC module conforming to AMC.2 that joins Ethernet switch function and shelf fabric link: the front ports are gathered on a single MRJ-21 connector, while two GbE ports are routed towards the backplane as laid down by the AMC.2 specification.
The switch handles IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, jumbo frames, ACL rules and per-port CoS queues. The module is independent of the operating system and the extraction handle allows hot insertion.
