MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
AMC216Managed Layer 2 switch module with front SFP ports
AMC216 is an AdvancedMC module conforming to AMC.2 that builds a managed layer 2 Ethernet switch inside an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA shelf, without taking a system slot with an external device.
The front ports are on SFP cages, while two GbE links stay routed towards the backplane. An RS-232 console on micro USB allows configuration, the LEDs report activity and state and module management follows IPMI. The format is single-module full-size.
