AMC215 is an AdvancedMC module conforming to AMC.2 that exposes two 10GbE interfaces on SFP+ cages, bringing ten gigabit connectivity to the front panel of an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA shelf.
Towards the backplane the module uses the XAUI lanes. The SFP+ optics are chosen at order time among 10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-LRM and 10GBASE-LR, or the module can be supplied without a transceiver. The front panel comes in mid or full height.
