Inference where the video arrives
AIX-NX is built on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX: 157 TOPS, 1024 CUDA cores and 32 Tensor cores, with 16 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5. Video enters through one HD-SDI input and three analog PAL/NTSC inputs and leaves through one 3G-SDI output: processing takes place on the camera stream, not on a downstream PC.
Storage is an M.2 2242 PCIe Gen4 ×4, up to 1 TB NVMe. The software is the NVIDIA JetPack SDK, on Jetson Linux with Ubuntu.
Platform I/O
- 1× 2.5GbE and 1× GbE
- 2× programmable RS-232/422/485 and 1× CAN bus
- 3 discrete inputs and 3 discrete outputs, remote power-on
- 1× USB 3.2 on military USB-C and 3× USB 2.0
- audio in and out
The connectors are two military-type circular 2M805 connectors, one military USB-C and five sealed HD-BNC.
Power and environment
The input is 28 V nominal, 12–36 V DC continuous, compliant with MIL-STD-704F, DO-160F and MIL-STD-1275D, with protection against overcurrent, overvoltage and transients. Power consumption is between 40 and 65 W, in 146.3 × 166.5 × 84.5 mm and 1.75 kg, without fans.
Declared tests: shock at 20 g 11 ms and crash safety at 40 g 11 ms (DO-160G section 7, MIL-STD-810H 516.8); vibration for rotary wing, fixed wing and wheeled vehicle (DO-160G section 8, MIL-STD-810H 514.8); IP65 according to EN 60529; operating altitude up to 7620 m; EMC according to DO-160G and MIL-STD-461G.
The operating temperature is -20 to 55 °C, storage is -40 to 80 °C: the thermal profile of the installation should be compared with these ranges before selection.
