Why we go
EURONAVAL puts navies, shipyards and the supply chain that equips ships inside the same halls: it is the place where an on-board requirement is discussed with the people who will write it into the programme. For us it is the international appointment of the naval market: the exhibition is in Paris, the programmes come from half the world.
We attend under the GOMA Rugged Solutions brand — the name we appear under in the exhibitors list: computing, display and networking electronics for environments that vibrate, get wet and do not forgive a reboot.
What we bring
Computers and displays qualified for the shipboard environment, managed switches with redundancy, platforms on standard architectures for defence programmes. The references come from the catalogue with their qualifications declared row by row — IEC 60945, MIL-STD-810 — because in the naval world the first serious question is always about the qualification, not the datasheet.
What to ask at the stand
The questions worth the trip at an exhibition like this one: which qualifications a platform already holds, which can be obtained on a dedicated configuration, and how a system is kept alive for the duration of a naval programme. These are engineering-desk conversations, and that is who you will find at the stand.
