The reconfigurable MPSoC platform offers edge computing capability, with support for DDS and MQTT in a KVM virtual machine for user applications and integrated CAN 2.0 ports as an option.
Layer 2 includes IEEE 802.1Q VLANs up to 4K groups, LLDP, storm control and IGMP Snooping up to 1024 multicast filters; spanning tree covers STP, RSTP and MSTP. Management runs in-band from any switch port or out-of-band from the service port, with RS-232 serial console and IBIT diagnostics; synchronization follows IEEE 1588 PTPv2 as Transparent or Ordinary Clock.
