NIU3E is a rugged network interface unit for mobile installations and field platforms, where the unit stays exposed to dust and splashing water and has no place in an air-conditioned cabinet.
Management is complete: SNMP, CLI command line, SSH access and HTTPS web interface, with syslog for event collection and Telnet for legacy tools. Traffic separation relies on 802.1Q VLANs, so several services can share the same cabling without seeing each other.
