Two CPUs, one 3U board

CPCI-A3535 is a 3U CPU board that can be ordered in two configurations: Intel Xeon W-11555MLE or Intel Core i7-11850HE. The format is 4HP or 8HP, on a 160 × 100 mm board. Memory is provided by two SODIMM sockets: up to 64 GB DDR4-3200 with ECC, replaceable, not soldered.

Storage and networking for on-board rail use

The board carries 3D NAND flash in SLC mode, in 80 GB or 160 GB. Five SATA 3.x channels with RAID support are routed to the system, along with the SGPIO links that drive the SATA carrier LEDs.

Networking is dual: two 2.5GbE ports on M12 X-coded connectors, or two 1GbE RJ-45 ports. The front panel has the service ports: USB 3.2, USB-C and RJ-45 with Intel AMT.

Railway standards

The board operates from -40 to 70 °C and is stored from -40 to 85 °C. The catalogue declares EN 50155 for on-board electronics, EN 50121 for railway electromagnetic compatibility and EN 50124-1 for insulation coordination, as well as CE, UKCA, FCC and EN 55024.

When to choose it

If you are designing a 3U system for rolling stock, CPCI-A3535 provides ECC, SLC storage and Ethernet on M12 already on the board, rather than on add-on modules.
