VT899Cube-format MicroTCA system with redundant cooling

VT899 adopts a cube format instead of the classic rack enclosure: the limited depth and the compact shape allow use outside the rack cabinet, while still keeping a complete MicroTCA system.
The AMC positions can be populated either with six single-width full-size modules or with three double-width ones, according to the configuration chosen. The cooling units are redundant, so that the failure of one does not stop the system. Diagnostics are reachable from the front through a Micro DB-9 connector; the operating temperature range goes from 0 to 55 °C and storage from -40 to 70 °C.
