VT8521U MicroTCA chassis with a declared operating altitude
VT852 explicitly declares the maximum operating altitude, a condition to verify when the system is meant for installations in the mountains or on board vehicles, because as pressure drops the effectiveness of air cooling changes.
The integrated power supply declares a power between 300 and 398 W. The operating temperature range runs from 0 to 55 °C and storage from -40 to 70 °C; the declared certifications are CE, FCC and UL and the front indicators also report the state of the PCI Express lanes.
