
VT8481U MicroTCA chassis with dual XAUI on every slot
The backplane is what tells one MicroTCA chassis from another: in VT848 every AMC position receives two routed XAUI interfaces, so the boards can exchange high-bandwidth traffic without going through external links.
It is the architecture for acquisition systems in which several modules generate streams that have to converge towards the same processing board. Power comes from the mains, with a declared input between 110 and 240 V. The AMC.0 and AMC.2 profiles are declared, CE, FCC and UL certifications and a storage range from -40 to 70 °C.
