VMT4400A is a VME microrack for 6U boards in a portable enclosure with a front drive bay: the aluminum alloy frame measures 267.9 × 576 × 362.6 mm and has a carrying handle and support feet.

The Elma backplane reaches 5 VME or VME64x slots with automatic daisy-chains, power comes from 3U 8HP modules at 100-240 VAC for 250 W or 36-72 V and 18-36 V DC and the front hosts one 3.5″ drive; air leaves at the rear through an extraction fan and the declared envelope is 0 to +55 °C, IP20, shock 15g/11ms and vibration 1.5g between 5 and 200 Hz. GOMA configures it for the application.
