IndustryPack modules are small format mezzanines used to compose the I/O of a system: the carrier houses four of them on a single VME slot, leaving the measurement, communication or control function to the modules.
This is how functions are added to a rack already in service without redoing the architecture: the module is replaced, not the board. The form factor is the VME double Eurocard.
