IPS-2042FX-MM-SC is a lightly managed industrial Ethernet switch for connecting Fast Ethernet devices and PoE-powered equipment in cabinets and panels on DIN-rail. The two 100Base-FX multimode fiber uplinks with SC connector cover distances up to 2 km with a link budget of 7.5 dB at 1310 nm.
The total PoE budget of 61.6 W is distributed across the 4 powered ports. Ring redundancy with the O-Ring, O-Chain and Open-Ring protocols delivers ring recovery in 10 ms; the redundant input and the protections against overload and reverse polarity complete the 48 V power supply section.
