IDS-322 makes serial instruments and PLCs reachable over the network: the ports, configurable as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, are exposed as virtual COM ports, serial tunnel or TCP and UDP sockets.
The two Ethernet ports also work in switch mode, so several units connect in daisy chain without adding a network node. Management is protected by HTTPS, SSH and an IP whitelist, while events are notified via syslog, e-mail, SNMP trap, relay and buzzer.
