G215 is a CompactPCI Serial peripheral board in 3U form factor, compliant with the PICMG CPCI-S.0 specification, whose personality is defined by a Cyclone IV FPGA: the factory configuration brings two UARTs, two CAN bus interfaces and one digital I/O port to the front panel.
The supported physical layers include RS232, RS422 and RS485, besides HDLC, CAN bus, IBIS and GPS, and the individual interfaces are built with SA adapters mounted on board. The link towards the system is a PCI Express connection and the front LEDs report the state of the FPGA configuration.
