G101 is a managed Ethernet switch board in 3U 4HP form factor for CompactPCI Serial systems, with the Gigabit ports split between front panel and backplane.
The management firmware allows the switch to be configured and the console is reachable from an RS232 interface; time synchronization follows IEEE 1588. The boards are protected by conformal coating and electrical safety is declared according to EN 50155, with forced convection air cooling.
