VT898 is a tall-format MicroTCA chassis, intended for dense configurations in which the number of modules and their power draw call for adequate volume and cooling.
Maintenance access is on the front, through a Micro DB-9 connector and indicator LEDs, so diagnosis does not depend on the network configuration.
