VT893MicroTCA chassis with operating altitude up to 3048 m
VT893 is a complete MicroTCA system, with a µTCA backplane that gathers the AMC positions and governs their connections and power.
The maximum operating altitude is declared explicitly, a figure to verify when the system is meant for high-altitude installations or for use on board vehicles: as pressure drops, the ability of air to carry away heat changes. The declared profiles towards the modules are AMC.0, AMC.1 and AMC.2, with CE, FCC and UL certifications and a storage range from -40 to 70 °C.
