VT8551U MicroTCA system with integrated Intel Xeon W-11865MRE
VT855 is not only an enclosure for AMC boards: it integrates the compute part into the chassis, with an Intel Xeon processor of the eleventh generation Tiger Lake-H family. The application can therefore run inside the system, alongside the acquisition modules, without an external server.
The DDR4 memory provides ECC support, a condition required when data integrity counts as much as its processing. The AMC positions stay available for the application boards and can alternatively house disk drives. The AMC.0, AMC.1, AMC.2 and AMC.4 profiles are declared, CE, FCC and UL certifications and a storage range from -40 to 90 °C.
