VT840Low-height MicroTCA rack chassis
VT840 is a MicroTCA chassis meant for cabinets where the vertical space is already taken: it gathers backplane, power supply and cooling into a low-height enclosure and leaves the integrator only the choice of the AMC modules.
The format is the constraint that determines its use, because it limits the number and the width of the boards that can be installed compared with the taller chassis of the same family. The system declares the AMC.1 and AMC.2 profiles towards the modules, CE, FCC and UL certifications and a storage range from -40 to 70 °C.
