Tyton VS2X is a ruggedized video encoder for mobile surveillance and reconnaissance platforms: it captures SDI and CVBS sources with KLV metadata, compresses them and carries them onto the onboard network through the 1 Gbps Ethernet output.
The configuration handles up to 8 streams in total, with an encoding latency declared within 60 ms and remote control over SNMP 3.0. Power is 28 VDC on a circular connector, while the environmental qualifications include MIL-STD-810 and IP67 sealing; electromagnetic compatibility follows MIL-STD-461.
