TPMC462 is a mezzanine module in PMC form factor for serial communication. It adds serial ports to a carrier board already in the field, without dedicated slots: it is the usual way to connect remote units to an embedded system. On the environmental side the module is air cooled and has an operating temperature of -40~85 °C, compatible with industrial cabinets without climate control. The configurations of the family differ in bus interface, consumption and MTBF; an ordering example is TPMC462-10R.
