TPMC317 is a mezzanine module in PMC form factor dedicated to motion control. It plugs into the PMC site of a carrier board, which supplies bus and power, and brings the function inside an embedded system without taking a backplane slot.
The trait that sets it apart is the conduction-cooled build: the heat leaves by conduction towards the host board, without dedicated ventilation, and the -40~85 °C range declared in operation also holds for storage.
