PMC-422 is a mezzanine module in PMC form factor that adds eight asynchronous serial ports to an embedded computer, to connect instruments, PLCs and field units.
The foreseen electrical interfaces are RS232, RS422 and RS485, with signals available both on the front panel and on the rear I/O of the carrier.
