G504 is a shuttle module in 3U 4HP form factor for CompactPCI Serial systems, that brings on board an NVMe solid state drive accessible from the front panel.
The bay takes a 2.5 inch U.2 drive or an M.2 module, depending on the version, and the link towards the backplane is a PCI Express connection. The front LEDs report power and activity, while cooling can be by air or by conduction.
