G28M – 02G028M00 is a board in 3U 8HP form factor compliant with the CompactPCI Serial PICMG CPCI-S.0 specification, declared for use on board rolling stock according to EN 50155 and EN 50121.
The front carries two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on M12 connectors and USB-A and USB-C connectors with DisplayPort alternate mode, while the backplane exposes Ethernet, PCIe, USB and SATA. DDR4 memory with ECC and NVMe drive are soldered on board; cooling is by forced convection air and the declared service life is twenty years.
