G227 is a CompactPCI Serial peripheral board in 3U 4HP form factor that brings wireless connectivity into a system: two PCI Express Mini slots are intended for cellular modules, a third slot for WLAN, GPS, virtual SIM or audio codec.
Every module has reverse SMA antenna connectors on the front panel and dedicated status LEDs, while reset and power-up are commanded from software slot by slot. Ten microSIM holders find room on board; the boards are protected by conformal coating and electrical safety is declared according to EN 50155.
