G102 is a managed Ethernet switch board in 3U 4HP form factor for CompactPCI Serial systems, with three 1000BASE-T ports on X-coded M12 connectors at the front and the Gigabit links towards the backplane.
Configuration is done from the command line over console, SSH or Telnet, or from a web interface over IPv4 and IPv6; the switch works in store-and-forward and supports jumbo frames. Temperature measurement and a watchdog are on board, and the card can take a system or a peripheral slot.
