Condor XR2S-B5000 is a 6U VPX COTS graphics and GPGPU module for high-throughput embedded computing: multi-stream video processing, sensor fusion and AI inference pipelines. The payload is aligned to the SOSA profile SLT6-PAY-4F2Q1H4U1T1S1S1TU2U2T1H-10.6.4-0 on OpenVPX VITA 65 architecture.
Interconnection is handled by two Microchip Switchtec PFX PCIe Gen4 Switch devices between the GPUs and the backplane, with 16 PCI Express 4.0 lanes: lane distribution and peer-to-peer traffic, without involving the host CPU. On the codec side, the 9th generation NVENC encoders with 4:2:2 support and the 6th generation NVDEC decoders handle multi-channel encode/decode chains in hardware, not on the compute cores.
