The 68PPC3A is a PowerPC Single Board Computer in 3U Eurocard format for OpenVPX ANSI/VITA 65, SOSA aligned: embedded computing for aerospace systems, vehicle platforms, power control and industrial or mobility applications, with SWaP-C optimization.
Its distinguishing trait is the COSA architecture: a single site for an intelligent module, today optimized for the NE6 module, drawing on more than 100 smart I/O, communication or Ethernet switch functions. The interface adapts to the program by configuration, not by board redesign.
Estimated power consumption is 18 W, excluding the NAI XMC module supply, with continuous Background Built-in-Test and support for VxWorks 7, Linux, NXP Generic Linux Distro, DDC-I Deos, Xilinx Peta Linux and Green Hills INTEGRITY-178 tuMP.
