The module brings mass storage inside a VPX slot instead of onto the compute board: it hosts a 2.5 inch SATA SSD or slim SATA drives, with activity LEDs on the front panel and inputs dedicated to the zeroize and purge functions.
The bus compliance declared by the manufacturer covers VITA 46.0, 46.4, 46.9, 48 and 65. The operating temperature runs from -40 to 80 °C in the air cooled versions and from -40 to 85 °C in the conduction cooled ones.
