SWE440 is an Ethernet switch in 3U VPX form factor, compliant with VITA 46 and meant for the data plane of open architecture systems.
Switching is fully managed at Layer-2/3+ and takes place at wire speed on IPv6 traffic as well; the ports include 1000BaseT, 1000BaseKX, 10GBASE-KX4, 10GBASE-KR and 40GBASE-KR4 links.
Front and rear I/O are available and the board is declared RoHS compliant.
