The slots accept media converters of the RMC-111PB, RMC-111FB and RMC-121FB series with 10/100Base-T(X) auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X, over 100Base-FX fiber interfaces in both single-mode and multimode.
The chassis measures 430 x 243 x 132 mm and weighs 4955 g; operation is specified from -10 to 60 °C with storage from -40 to 85 °C and humidity from 5 to 95% non-condensing.
Overload protection is built in; emissions are qualified to FCC Part 15 and CISPR class A and the MTBF calculated to MIL-HDBK-217F2 is 870,520 hours.
