MKBL107N0001USB is the US Qwerty layout version of the MKBL107 series: a full travel keyboard with integrated trackball, intended for military, naval and vehicle-mount command stations where the input must remain usable even in low light.
The backlight is powered by the USB port, not by a dedicated line, and can alternatively be driven by a customer PWM signal; the USB output runs through an Amphenol circular connector, while the trackball works with an optical tracking engine and a metallic grey epoxy resin ball.
Other layouts are available in the same family: MKBL107N0046USB (Swedish Qwerty) and MKBL107N0090USB (Turkish Qwerty).
