IAP-420 brings the wireless network where the cable does not reach: automation cabinets, warehouses, production lines. It mounts on DIN rail or wall and runs off the 12~48 VDC already available in the cabinet, with a redundant dual input and protection against overcurrent and reverse polarity.
The 802.11 b/g/n radio reaches 150 Mbps and handles up to four SSIDs with 802.1X authentication and WPA2 encryption. The unit works as access point, bridge or client and roams in under 100 ms. The two 10/100 Base-T(X) ports connect local equipment; the IP30 enclosure covers indoor installation between −10 and 60 °C.
