Æ-1553-RT-PoE sits between an avionics bus and the network when the task is to answer on the bus and observe its traffic: the exchanges are followed from the station connected to the network, which receives the data collected by the device without additional instrumentation.
During test sessions the device works alongside the real units, answering the transactions that concern it and keeping a record of what it observes, so that commissioning can proceed with the full picture of the exchanges.
