Quality, in writing

An Integrated Management System certified by third-party bodies since 2002: quality, aerospace, railway and information security.

One management system, five certifications

Working to internationally recognized standards is a condition for competitiveness: our Integrated Management System covers quality and information security.

We have been ISO 9001 certified since 2002. Over the years the commitment has extended to the EN 9100 and EN 9120 aerospace standards, to IRIS Certification for the railway industry and, since 2025, to ISO/IEC 27001 for information security.

How we work: the Quality System

The certifications registry

Five management system certifications issued by third-party bodies and renewed through periodic audits: what each one certifies, and which part of the company it covers.

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015

Scope: All company processes · Since 2002

Quality management

The international reference standard for quality management systems: documented processes, monitoring and continuous improvement. It is the certification we have held since 2002, the foundation of the whole system.

AS 9100D · EN 9100:2018

Scope: Aerospace and defense

Quality for aerospace and defense

The standard that extends ISO 9001 to the aerospace and defense industry: additional requirements on traceability, risk management and reliability, as demanded by aeronautical programs.

AS 9120B · EN 9120:2018

Scope: Aerospace distribution

Aerospace distribution

The standard dedicated to the distribution of boards, electronic and mechanical equipment in the aerospace industry: traceability and conformity of components across the whole supply chain.

IRIS · ISO 22163:2023

Scope: Railway

Quality for the railway industry

The railway industry standard (IRIS Certification): it covers the design, manufacturing and distribution of integrated systems, boards and electronic and mechanical equipment for the railway sector.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022

Scope: Information security · Since 2025

Information security

The international standard for information security management: it protects company and customer data, from design documentation to production data. Achieved in 2025.

The AEO customs status

Not a management system certification but the status the Customs Authority grants to companies with robust processes: for buyers it means faster import and export.

AEO

Scope: EU customs · Since September 2021

Authorized Economic Operator

Since September 2021 GOMA holds the AEO status, the highest recognition the Customs Authority can bestow on a company engaged in intensive international trade: it proves the robustness of our internal processes and guarantees fast, standardized import and export procedures, with fewer inspections and shorter customs times. For customers, more punctual deliveries.

Responsible sourcing

Conflict minerals are a supply-chain requirement customers and programs ask us to document: the regulatory context and our position.

Conflict Minerals Policy

Dodd-Frank Act 2010 · Reg. (EU) 2017/821

The context

“Conflict Minerals” identifies tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (the “3TG”): minerals whose trade in politically unstable areas can finance armed groups, promote forced labor and other human rights violations, corruption and money laundering.

The US Dodd-Frank Act (2010) and EU Regulation 2017/821, in force since 1 January 2021, impose transparency and due diligence obligations on the supply chain of these minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas.

GOMA's position

GOMA ELETTRONICA does not directly purchase or trade minerals from Congo or other politically unstable areas: our internal analysis highlights a low risk from the Conflict Minerals point of view.

We explicitly ask our suppliers to adopt adequate evaluation processes on Conflict Minerals and to send their policies and prevention systems to our Quality Office: quality@goma.it

The integrated policy, on request

The integrated policy for Quality and Information Security is available to interested parties on request to our Quality Office.
