Description

VERAK® EMC/IP cabinets are designed to meet the specific needs of the telecommunications, industrial and electronic sectors offering IP65 environmental protection and EMC attenuation. The cabinet in this version protects the equipment from radio frequencies allowing the electronic systems to comply with the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and ensures maximum protection against the penetration of dust and water. The cabinet offers attenuation of over 80 dB at 100 MHz and 40 dB at 1 GHz, the highest levels available in a standard product. The EMC gaskets ensure electrical continuity between the panels, are fixed in slots made on the EMC shielding and can only be removed using a special tool. VERAK® EMC/IP is an extremely robust floor cabinet. The 2 mm thick steel frame gives strength and rigidity, with a static load capacity of 1000 kg. The knife edges that interact with the panel gasket to ensure maximum IP tightness are an integral part of the vertical supports and also represent the contact surface of the EMC fingers ensuring the insulation of the entire structure. The front and rear doors are easily reversible opening and available in metal or glass. The EMC panels and doors have a double coating, consisting of a conductive internal panel and a painted protective external one. The EMC glass door is equipped with a thin metal mesh enclosed between two 3 mm thick glass plates to ensure continuity of grounding, allows visual inspection of the equipment without compromising EMC performance. The exclusive design of the locking mechanism ensures the integrity of the IP and EMC sealing systems. A swing handle controls a four-point locking system that exerts adequate pressur
